Apple Beer Poetry Page 4

When life is bleak and chilly
As deepest darkest night
Then Apple Beer will come along
And make it all, all right

The girls and money come and go
But one thing's ever true
A constant friend throughout the years
The perfect Apple Brew

Are three too few? Is four too much?
How many mugs to drink?
We'll quaff until we get so full
That we can't even think

Prance and shout and leap for joy
The Bev'rage King is here
Fall to your knees and give all praise
To Mighty Apple Beer

We think of Apple Beer divine
Sent to us from above
A crystal goblet overfilled
With bubbling liquid love

Apple Beer doth fill my soul
With everlasting light
One sip will give the deaf their ears
And blind will have their sight

From the beginnings of the Earth
One bev'rage without fail
Has ever tempted man's taste buds
This, truly, Adam's Ale

A woman true and happiness
Are only dreams to me
For only thee, o Apple Beer
Hath proved thy loyalty

Oh Apple Beer, the greatest one
Our only drink delight
What do we care, if, bladders full
You keep us up all night?

A keg, a pint, and then on tap
So many diff'rent ways
This mighty brew will sweep the land
In a refreshment craze
